The Fruit of the Spirit Chorus D A When I walk in the spirit God makes fruit grow in me. D A When I walk in the spirit God makes fruit grow in me. D A When I walk in the spirit God makes fruit grow in me. G D Bm A D God makes fruit grow in me Echo Part: Em D He’ll grow love (He’ll grow love) He’ll grow love (He’ll grow love) Em D He’ll grow faithfulness (He’ll grow faithfulness) He’ll grow faithfulness (He’ll grow faithfulness) Chorus Em D He’ll grow joy (He’ll grow joy) He’ll grow joy (He’ll grow joy) Em D He’ll grow gentleness (He’ll grow gentleness) He’ll grow gentleness (He’ll grow gentleness) Em D He’ll grow peace (He’ll grow peace) He’ll grow peace (He’ll grow peace) To make the song interactive, have the kids help to identify 2 fruit to sing about before you sing each chorus. Write it down on a board if you like. It’s okay if you don’t sing all of them in each sitting! If kids are into, sing it as long as you like, if they aren’t, or you need to fit more ideas in, sing each one only once (as in recording) but still let the kids identify the fruit for memorization purposes! Galatians 5:22 (in E) E B When I walk in the spirit God makes fruit grow in me. E B When I walk in the spirit God makes fruit grow in me. E B When I walk in the spirit God makes fruit grow in me. A E C#m B E God makes fruit grow in me Echo Part: F#m E He’ll grow love (He’ll grow love) He’ll grow love (He’ll grow love) F#m E He’ll grow faithfulness (He’ll grow faithfulness) He’ll grow faithfulness (He’ll grow faithfulness) F#m E He’ll grow joy (He’ll grow joy) He’ll grow joy (He’ll grow joy) F#m E He’ll grow gentleness (He’ll grow gentleness) He’ll grow gentleness (He’ll grow gentleness) F#m E He’ll grow peace (He’ll grow peace) He’ll grow peace (He’ll grow peace) (use all fruit of Spirit)

God Made It All In D, Capo wherever you like, it’s in Eb on the recording. V.1 D He made the sun G He made the stars A D He made the planet Mars D He made the seas G He made the trees A D He made the bumble bees Chorus F#min Bmi God made it all G A created it with His call F#min Bmin God Made it all E7 A A+ A beauty like waterfalls V.2 D He made the paper G He made the aquarium A D He made the frogs D He made the castles G He made the mushrooms A D He made me Chorus V.3 D He made the Heavens G He made the Earth A D He made me D He gave me Jesus G He gave His life A D To God the glory be. *Let the kids decide what he has made! I always use the first and last verse as is, to get them started and to reflect on the big things God has done. But in the middle, give them to go-ahead! Even the littlest ones enjoy this. Draw pictures of what they’ve contributed, it’s good for them to see their ideas on the board, it’s fun to see a grown up draw their ideas, and also great for the teacher to remember what all they’ve said. Get all their ideas, and then sing the verse you have made together. For slightly older kids, encourage them to consider rhymin,g as in the first written out verse.

Jesus the King (capo 3 to play in F as in recording) (call and response AND echo song) D Bm Who Obeyed His Father (Jesus the King w/echo) G A7 Who washed disciples feet? (Jesus the King w/echo) D Bm Who put His hands on a leper? (Jesus the King w/echo) G A7 Who gave His life for all? (Jesus the King) Chorus: Bm Where is the need? E7 What can I do to love? Bm How can I serve? E7 God, help me, help me, help me! *verse – teachers can insert their own questions about how Jesus served-continued with written echo This song is to help reiterate that Jesus THE KING, was a servant, and got his hands dirty, so to speak, because he loves the world. It’s pretty amazing that the King of the Universe came to serve, and remembering this can help us to remember our calling to serve others as well.
